Hello! I'm Linda Edwards
My name is Linda Edwards, I am the owner and founder of Nana’s Pet First Aid & CPR. I am a pet parent, pet grandparent, and pet godmother. I have always lived in a multi-pet household and currently have two cats, Annie and Noah along with my Border Collie, Gracie and Yorkie, Ellis. I started Nana's Pet Pet First Aid & CPR in 2010.
Dedicated to Pet Safety
Shortly after starting Nana's Pet Sitting & Dog Walking, I discovered PetTech, the first international training center dedicated to pet care, first aid, and CPR for cats and dogs. My assistant and I completed the eight-hour class and I was so impressed with the course content I knew immediately that all Nana's sitters and dog walkers needed to complete this training.
I also knew I wanted to be a part of the PetTech family, helping to promote pet wellness, pet first aid, CPR, and pet care to all pet parents and pet professionals. So, I quickly became an instructor and then shortly thereafter I became a Master Pet Tech Instructor and launched Nana's Pet First Aid & CPR.
There are hundreds of trained instructors in the country, but only eight Master Instructors. I underwent extensive training and had to gain years of experience before becoming a Master Instructor myself. I love teaching the class and I am proud of all the students I teach.
Most recently, Nana has earned the COVID Certified Pet Sitter and the Disaster Plan Certified Pet Sitter certificate both earned through Pet Sitters International. Each certificate required the completion and passing of continuing education courses.
